More than six decades ago, specifically in 1961, J. Vitthalbhai Patel began a journey rooted in one simple belief — that, above all, tea made with honesty and care could bring people together. Initially, what started as a small venture in Hubli, Karnataka, subsequently grew steadily through patience, hard work, and, most importantly, an unwavering commitment to quality — thereby laying the foundation of what would eventually become Patel Tea.

With deep respect for the craft,  J. Vitthalbhai Patel  gradually learned every stage of the business from the ground up — first sourcing the finest leaves, then mastering the art of blending, and ultimately understanding what truly makes a cup of tea worth trusting. As a result, that hands-on dedication became the moral foundation of the brand, long before it carried a name people would recognize across Hubli.

As the years passed, and consequently as demand grew, the business expanded from a single small operation into a respected tea manufacturer in Hubli, gradually branching into wholesale distribution and marketing as well. In other words, what was once a modest family effort steadily evolved into Patel Tea — a name that is now, in fact, associated with strength, consistency, and trust across generations of households and businesses alike.

Through changing times and, indeed, a constantly growing market, one thing, however, never changed — the promise behind every batch.
